![]() Baymax senses the young man's injuries - both emotional and physical - and springs into action, on a mission to heal the boy, even as Hiro transforms himself, the robot and four of his new classmates into six superheroes - hence the movie's title. Tadashi's project is Baymax, an inflatable health-care robot who loves to ask "On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your pain?" After meeting Baymax and Tadashi's classmates, Hiro decides he wants in and creates his own innovative technology to gain admission, but after unveiling it, a horrible accident happens, leaving Hiro reclusive and grief-stricken. His older brother Tadashi encourages him to pursue higher education at the same college he attends, a "nerd school" where brilliant minds create new technology to better mankind. ![]() Set in the fictional city of San Fransokyo, which visibly appears to be an advanced mash-up of Tokyo and San Francisco, the story follows the young troublemaker Hiro Hamada, a 14-year-old genius who has already graduated high school. "Big Hero 6" is based on an obscure Marvel comic book of which I personally had no previous knowledge, so I can't compare the two.
